LEAFY OREGANO

Typical of Mediterranean areas, it appears as a hardy, herbaceous perennial plant, 40-80 cm tall, with an erect, branched stem and small, oval leaves. The flowers, pink or white, are joint in terminal clusters.

An aromatic plant, widely used in cooking: simply adding a few whole leaves to your dishes will release that typically Mediterranean aroma.
Used to flavor meats, salads, pizzas, and other Mediterranean dishes, it makes an excellent digestif when macerated
in a bottle of wine or infused with the flowers.
